Eligible Diet

Cattle qualifying for Certified Pasturefed must be fed an Eligible Diet which must be derived solely from forage consisting of:

• Grass (annual and perennial
•  Forbs
  • Legumes:
    • lucerne
    • clover
    • cowpeas
    • lablab
    • leucaena
    • lupins
  • Brassica
    • Beets
    • Kale
    • Turnips
• Browse
• Cereal grain crops in a pre-grain state
